Hi, I’m Shannon, and I’m the mom behind Presley’s Purpose. I started this blog after losing my daughter, Presley, on January 9 2025 at 33 days old. Writing became a way to process my grief, honor her life, and connect with others who know the pain of losing a child. This path can be incredibly isolating, but you’re not alone here. Here I will share many things, such as raw and honest emotion, open letters, true life experiences, and much more.

 

I’m a Christian, and while this journey has challenged my faith in deep ways, it’s also drawn me closer to God. I truly believe Presley’s life has purpose, even in her short time here. And this is a piece of that. One verse I cling to is Psalm 34:18 “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” It reminds me that God has never left my side, even on the hardest days.
